A Legacy of Love

David Glasser was a Phoenix Police Officer who was killed in the line of duty on Mary 18, 2016.  He made a habit of telling people he loved them and showing love to them.  He thought this was so important that he said ‘love you’ to everyone he cared about instead of ‘good-bye’.  He influenced those around him to also catch the ‘love you’ habit.  He was so persistent that even his squad of tough cops at work said “love you’ to each other – or yelled it to each other – before they left the squad room.  These words have echoed through the minds of everyone who knew and loved David Glasser, helping to ease the pain of dealing with the huge hole his death left in their lives.

The David Glasser Foundation exists to provide opportunities for Law Enforcement Officers and the people they serve to connect and learn through community events and resources.

Our vision is to lead the way in promoting positive relationships between Law Enforcement Officers and the communities they serve.
