What an incredible show of support we received for our first give back event in Laveen! We decided to collect backpacks for first graders at Cheatham Elementary School in Laveen. This is the community where Officer David Glasser served, and his son will be attending first grade in the fall so it was a fitting choice.
Our initial goal was to collect 100 backpacks and our community came out in force and donated over 400! Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us, and to Peter Piper Pizza for hosting.
Our team filled the backpacks with school supplies and they will be distributed to the first graders by Phoenix police officers at a separate event.
