On January 13, 2018, the David Glasser Foundation partnered with Laveen Youth Sport to host a Jr. NBA Skills Challenge Camp at the Caser Chavez High School Gym in Laveen. One hundred kids had a chance to practice and test their skills, hoping to qualify to go on to the next level. Our police officer volunteers were there to help them and encourage them. At the end of the tournament, the kids celebrated their achievements with free pizza and a chance to watch a K-9 demonstration.
